Pat Hennin Quilty

A note from: Pat Hennin Quilty.

I cannot participate in the reunion activities as I am limited to a rolling walker w/seat and cannot get around well. I need help to get things etc. I sit always. It is all due to the polio I have always had (yes even in high school), but now have gotten worse as it is now "post polio syndrome".
I try to keep as busy as I can, I do drive but as I said I am limited as to what I can do. Also don't have much stamina as I tire easily.  (feel like an old party poop)   :)

I write children stories (that I have never sent to even be looked at by a publisher) but people and children tell me they are wonderful (even the Acton librarian). I also play at art. I do mixed media, collage and acrylics. I used to use oils but they are too dangerous to ones health so have made the change. I have sold many pieces.

I am a widow now for 22 years, my wonderful husband passing away from an Agent orange cancer from Vietnam in 1991. I have 2 adult children, one in Fla. and the married one in Westboro who is soon moving to N.C., but alas no grandkids.  I still live in same house in Acton, now for 36 years. Probably need to move to a condo, but here I still am.

I have seen the changes in Concord over the years.  It will be something when the new interchange will be finished at Crosby's corner.

I guess this has turned into a mini newsletter. You can pass the info along to whoever is handling news, or post it somewhere if you have a place. I do have facebook where I have a pic of me. Not sure how to share that unless I am "friended".

If there is some way I feel I can manage to come to Maurer's for a bit, I will try.
That same weekend my 101 mother in law is moving to her daughters in Fla. so do want to spend as much time with her as I can before she moves.
So that is my update. I am sure you all will have a great time!

Sincerely, Pat Hennin Quilty
